ICSPS 2020, sponsored by East China Normal University, China and
co-sponsored by Shanghai Key Laboratory of Multidimensional
Information Processing, was held during November 6-9, 2020 of
Beijing time (GMT+8) in full virtual style by ZOOM.
The COVID-19 pandemic has imposed unprecedented changes in our
personal and professional lives. Following the advice and
guidelines from healthcare officials and local authorities, the
organizing committee had to make a difficult decision to convert
ICSPS 2020 into full virtual conference.
We were delighted that 6 keynote speakers and 1 invited speaker
shared with us their recent research work. They were Prof.
Robert Minasian (IEEE Fellow & OSA Fellow) from The University
of Sydney, Australia; Prof. Vivek Goyal (IEEE Fellow & OSA
Fellow) from Boston University, USA; Prof. Alejandro F Frangi
(IEEE Fellow & SPIE Fellow) from University of Leeds, UK; Prof.
Min Wu (IEEE Fellow & AAAS Fellow) from University of Maryland,
College Park, USA; Prof. Feifei Gao (IEEE Fellow) from Tsinghua
University, China; Prof. Mads Græsbøll Christensen from Aalborg
University, Denmark and Dr. Ervin Sejdic from University of
Pittsburgh, USA.
Eight parallel
sessions were successfully held with the
efforts of all the session chairs and presenters. At award
ceremony, eight best presentations and one best paper were
announced.
